Lanarkshire Ice Rink
A recent addition to the RaceHost group of customers Lanarkshire Ice Rink wanted to change web host, add to their domain collection and build a fresh website. A well established company, the Ice Rink have lots of information they want to pass on to returning users as well as letting new visitors know all about the facilities available and what's going to be going on in the future.

The Lanarkshire Ice Rink site is a good mix of static and dynamic content, great for search engines to find out what the site contains, displaying up to date information for the website visitors and storing that information to be viewed on demand at users leisure. Behind what website visitors see, or the 'front-end', is an administration area custom coded by RaceHost to allow staff to supply the databases with information which appears on the front end of the site.

You can add your curling club to an on-line directory, view match results and even see when there is "Available Ice". We made use of Google Maps for the "find Us" page, with a neat little route finder too. This is one of our first sites to make wider use of "AJAX" web technology, a rather 'slick' way of displaying multi-part information.
